Roy and I have been married 30 years and in that time we have spent
many hours competing and training horses and dogs. We met training
horses when we were teenagers and over the years we found the lifestyle
very fulfilling . Our lives would be very different without the opportunities to
see another perspective that comes from working with animals.
Twin Peaks Livestock got it's name from the Twin Peaks behind our house
that we climbed on a daily basis. As to the livestock, we have cows, sheep,
dogs, and horses to feed each day. With that we train ranch horses that
can help you sort out a cow, and rope it for doctoring in or out of the show
ring. We also like to train Border Collies to be handy with sheep and do well
on the trial field. I work with all ages and stages of Border Collies and their
owners.
The two people that have shaped our approach to working with dogs and
horses the most are Bobby Dalziel and Buck Brannaman. We find their
methods to be very honorable.
We've sold many horses and dogs over the years and have something
for sale from time to time. We take great care in matching the right
person with the right animal.
Since we live in a perfect climate for what we like doing, you can find us
out in the field with our horses and dogs most everyday. Please honk
